Government Practice & Procurement

Our attorneys in this Group provide guidance to our clients in navigating the unique set of rules pertaining to bidder qualification, due process, competitive bidding and special forums in dealings with Government agencies. They assist clients in preparing and defending and revising the information contained in the New York City VENDEX database, which is used by the City of New York to determine whether a bidder is responsible or non-responsible.

Members of this Group have represented a variety of clients engaged in the construction and information technology industry before Federal, State and City agencies and have advised clients in preparing bids and proposals for Government work and assisting them in resolving disputes arising from and before any contract is signed and have assisted clients in preparing qualification statements required in most Government bidding.

In addition, members of this Group have represented municipalities and local school districts as construction law counsel.
