Todd A. Schulman Associate
Mr. Schulman is a Senior Associate in our Trusts and Estates Department. Mr. Schulman concentrates his practice in providing clients with sophisticated estate and financial planning and in counseling executors, administrators and trustees in all aspects of the administration of estates and trusts.
Services provided include: meeting with clients and creating an estate plan, drafting the relevant documents, probating wills in Surrogate’s Court, initiating and responding to claims against an estate, providing representation in the event of an estate or gift tax audit, transferring title to assets, making final distributions and closing an estate. Additionally, Mr. Schulman assists clients who are contesting a will or responding to a will contest, as well as those who are dealing with contested accountings of an executor, administrator or trustee.
Mr. Schulman is experienced with representing celebrity and other high-profile clients, and delicately responding to their special privacy concerns. In addition to estate planning and estate and trust administration, Mr. Schulman is experienced with drafting and negotiating Prenuptial Agreements, transferring ownership of residential property and representing artists and art collectors.
